• Title: KARATE
  • Artist: BABYMETAL
  • Runtime: 4:52   Language: Japanese
  • Date: March 27, 2016

"KARATE," much like BABYMETAL's other singles, is pounding heavy-metal with a unique pop-music twist. In the MV, the three girls of BABYMETAL stand alone in a sea of darkness, confronted by tall and mysterious warriors clad in white. The girls battle together in rhythm with the music, and ultimately appear to be defeated. But they manage to pull each other to their feet, and attack with renewed strength. Their enemies' silver masks are blown to pieces, and it can then be seen that they are girls as well. BABYMETAL make their "fox" hand gesture, and the white-clad foes vanish in a puff of smoke.

BABYMETAL is on a world tour in 2016, and will be stopping quite a few places in the United States in May and July. Their world tour will culminate with a performance at Tokyo Dome in their home country. Their album "Metal Resistance" comes out on April 1st, a day they have dubbed "Fox Day."
