Some people may have better lives than others; some people may be smarter; some people may be more successful…people live differently and no one is perfect; however, they all have one thing in common, that they won't live forever.

In Dear Jane's newest single Won't Live Forever (也許我不會活多一歲), the band shared with their audience the perspective on how to live a meaningful life, with the limited time and abilities. The lyrics of the song narrated the singer's thought process from recognizing his own limitations, to deciding to face the defect and be responsible for his own life. Although the singer was not the smartest person in the world, he took it positively and held up his insistence. When he was able to face the reality and adapt to it, his life became more meaningful and successful, even though he could not live forever.

The music video was shot on a platform on a busy Hong Kong street, setting up the background as one's daily life. Traffic is moving as usual and people are on the way to their destinations, just like what they do every day, and just like what the band is doing for its living. From the vocalist to the guitar, the bass, and the drum, this four-member group devoted their talent and enthusiasm into the song, and delivered the audience a touchy and thought-provoking product. The MV did not include special effect or attractive storyline; however, the audience can easily sense the band was singing with its heart for the best.

Not everyone can live under the highlights all the time. Besides superstars, billionaires, and influential individuals, there are also bus drivers, waiters, and office workers. As long as you worked hard and lived the best way within your abilities, you are successful in your life. Stop thinking of the negatives and start enjoy every day of your life, because you won't live forever.
