Mirai e” is an inspirational song composed and sung by Naoto Inti Raymi as the 2016 blood donation campaign song for the Japanese Red Cross Society. The lyrics fondly recount the words of his mother, “Walk with love”. Hand in hand with his mother, he persistently walks on the pathway to reach his dream and future.

While the song warmly encourages us to look ahead to our future, the music video depicts the journey of a young couple. The touching video demonstrates the couple’s excitement of moving into a new apartment and having their first child, the stress of going through hardships together, and the strong family bond that develops among the family members. In the last scene, the couple, now in their late middle age years, reminisces about the past as they flip through photo albums. A doorbell interrupts them and in comes their children, grown-up and married, with their young grandchildren.

Naoto Inti Raymi’s “Mirai e” will be released as a single on February 3, 2016.
