Chronograph (クロノグラフ) is SKY-HI’s newest single, that will be releasing a little later on May 11th. The song was written and sung by leading man Mitsuhiro Hidaka, arranged by Mabanua. It is an upbeat rap with piano strung in to help accompany it. Yohei Suzuki is the dancer seen in the video. Also the director set up a large amount of clocks around Mitsuhiro which strongly related to the theme of the song, separation. He’s scared knowing that the day will come when he will be separated from the one he seems to cherish. But he refuses to say “Goodbye” and “Thank you” to that person until they’re able to meet again, if they’re able to meet again. Because it’s not truly goodbye until you say it. The song may be upbeat, but the lyrics deal with the pain and anxiety of separation while looking back fondly on his memories with that person.

SKY-HI is going on tour later this year during the fall season across Japan to perform live concerts in smaller venues.
